Our client, a fast-growing healthcare organization with multiple entities, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a high-performing, collaborative accounting team. This role plays a key part in month-end close, financial reporting, and ad hoc analysis across a complex multi-entity structure, reporting to the Controller. Job Duties
- Contribute to month-end close across separate tax entities, including individual entity consolidation
- Support preparation of financial reporting packages for monthly lender reporting requirements
- Participate in P&L review, balance sheet review, and SG&A variance analysis against budget
- Prepare and post payroll-related journal entries in line with established payroll schedules
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support treasury, accounts payable, purchasing, and revenue cycle management functions
- Utilize standardized work papers and cross-train across team responsibilities to support a collaborative, no-silo close process
- Partner with team members to maintain adherence to a structured close calendar and deliverables checklist
Job Qualifications
- 4 years of GAAP Accounting experience
- Strong understanding of accrual-based accounting principles
- Intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and the ability to build clear analytical summaries
- Prior healthcare industry experience is a plus but not required; Sage Intacct experience also a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work within firm deadlines and a structured, high-collaboration team environment
