A boutique law firm with a sophisticated business litigation practice is seeking a mid to senior level Associate to join its team.
The firm offers a unique opportunity for litigators with a strong foundation who are interested in incorporating business, employment, and real estate litigation into their practice. Associates work closely with partners on sophisticated, client-facing matters across a range of litigation areas. The firm maintains a collaborative environment where attorneys are given meaningful responsibility and exposure across matters.
With a manageable 1,500 billable hour requirement and a hybrid schedule, the firm prioritizes sustainable practice and strong work-life balance without sacrificing the quality or sophistication of the work.
Job Responsibilities:
- Handling complex litigation matters across business, employment, and real estate disputes
- Business litigation to include complex commercial litigation, shareholder disputes, breach of contract disputes
- Representing local developers in commercial real estate litigation and construction litigation matters
- Serving as outside general counsel on any employment related matters including discrimination, wrongful terminations, etc.
- Working directly with clients and gaining meaningful trial experience
- Collaborating closely with partners on strategy and execution
Requirements:
- JD from an accredited law school
- 4 years of litigation experience (preferably commercial or business litigation or insurance defense)
- On-site 3x per week
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills
- Client-focused approach
- Admission to the GA bar
