Senior Accountant

Rapidly growing organization in Palm Beach County is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting and finance team. This is a unique opportunity with a blend of finance and accounting responsibilities — monthly/quarterly close, financial statement preparation, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and a lot of exciting ad hoc projects. Key Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and supporting schedules.
• Own balance sheet reconciliations; investigate and resolve variances in a timely manner.
• Perform account analysis and ensure accuracy and proper classification of financial data.
• Prepare and analyze budget vs. actuals, including variance explanations for leadership.
• Assist with financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support audit processes, including financial audits, bank audits, and tax-related requests.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Partner cross-functionally with FP&A and operational teams on financial insights and reporting.
• Assist with ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s degree a plus.
• CPA or CPA Candidate preferred
• 4-8 years of progressive experience ideally with a blend of public and corporate accounting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
