Key Responsibilities:
- Litigating complex commercial disputes in DC state and federal courts
- Managing all aspects of litigation, from pleadings, discovery, and motion practice through trial and appeal
- Conducting legal research and drafting memoranda, briefs, and other litigation documents
- Collaborating with partners and colleagues on strategic case development and client communication
- Taking ownership of matters and mentoring junior team members where applicable
Requirements:
- JD from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials
- 3–5 years of experience in commercial or business litigation at a law firm
- Admission to practice in DC required
- Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
- Proven ability to manage cases independently and as part of a team
- Judicial clerkship experience a plus
