Job Summary:This is a full-time role for Human Resource Manager at Steve Bubalo Construction Co. in Monrovia, CA. The Human Resource Manager will develop and coordinate the human resource activities to be compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations.Duties/Responsibilities:• Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization's human resource compliance and strategy needs.• Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.• Monitors and ensures the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.• Monitors Workers' Compensation claims and coordinates with insurance companies as needed.• Participate in employee performance and salary reviews.• Complete documentation for labor laws.• HR strategy creation and execution.• Collaborate with management.• Maintain workplace ethics.• Develops and executes best practices for hiring.• Investigate employee issues and conflicts and bring to resolution.• Research industry compensation and benefits.• Monitor Insurance Certificates from subcontractors and suppliers.• Assist management with preparation of subcontract agreements.• Performs other duties as required. Education and Experience:• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.• At least ten years of human resource management experience required.• Experience with both Union and Non-union employees. Physical Requirements:• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Salary : $100,000 - $160,000
