What You'll Do
- Carry out the supervising Occupational Therapist's treatment plan through functional activities and guided practice.
- Help residents develop skills for dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting.
- Incorporate prescribed activities that address upper-extremity function, coordination, and tolerance for daily routines.
- Reinforce adaptive equipment use and techniques that help residents complete tasks with greater safety and independence.
- Share observations about progress, assistance needs, and treatment tolerance with the OT.
- Maintain accurate session documentation and work with nursing and rehab staff to reinforce therapy strategies throughout daily care.
- $35–$38 per hour.
- PRN opportunities coordinated with your availability and rehabilitation coverage needs.
- Unlimited referral bonus, with up to $1,000 per successful referral.
- Support from therapy leadership and collaboration with fellow clinicians.
- Active New Hampshire Occupational Therapy Assistant license and COTA certification.
- Attentive treatment skills and the ability to follow an established plan of care.
- Clear communication and timely clinical documentation.
