What You'll Do
- Implement the supervising OT's treatment plan through purposeful activities and self-care practice.
- Assist residents with developing skills for dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting.
- Lead prescribed therapeutic activities that support upper-extremity function, coordination, and tolerance for daily tasks.
- Reinforce adaptive equipment use and compensatory techniques outlined in the plan of care.
- Report changes in resident performance, participation, or treatment tolerance to the OT.
- Document services promptly and share relevant care strategies with nursing and rehabilitation staff.
- $35–$40 per hour.
- PRN scheduling coordinated with your availability and department coverage needs.
- Unlimited referral bonus, with up to $1,000 per successful referral.
- A collaborative rehabilitation team and support from therapy leadership.
- Active Massachusetts Occupational Therapy Assistant license and COTA certification.
- Ability to follow individualized care plans and recognize concerns requiring the OT's input.
- Effective communication and accurate clinical documentation.
- Skilled nursing experience is a plus; new graduates are welcome to apply.
Salary : $35 - $40
