We’re seeking the right candidate for the position of Certified Activities Director at Sterlington Community Care Center.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Activity Director is certified, creative, and upbeat!
- *Must be a licensed driver. *
- Licensed or registered, if applicable by the State in which practicing.
- Valid CNA license.
- Has completed a training course approved by the State.
In this vital role, you’ll ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care while collaborating with a dedicated team, providing exceptional clinical leadership and support.
What You Bring to the Table:
Essential Qualifications:
- Responsible for organizing, coordinating, marketing and` advertising monthly community events.
- Contributing to the facility efforts to maintain and/or improve quality of care for each resident through participation in daily activities.
- Responsible for establishing, developing and carrying out age-related, functional impairment based, and dementia appropriates unique group based and individualized activities.
- Fostering family and community support of the activity program.
- Encouraging resident participation in each daily activity.
- Creatively prepare a monthly themed activity calendar for the residents.
- Budgeting of monthly activity expenses.
- Ongoing development and implementation of an activities program designed to meet the social, psychosocial and therapeutic needs of each resident.
