Ophthalmology Clinic Manager
Sterling Vision, PC
We are a 16 year-old ophthalmology, retina and uveitis practice located in the Eugene-Springfield area in Lane County, Oregon. The ophthalmology practice has two MDs and one physician assistant. They work collaboratively with our three optometrists.
Ophthalmlogy Clinic Manager must have extensive experience in ophthalmology and retina and have achieved COT or COMT certification or have extensive experience as a Clinic Manager in a Medical and Surgical Sub-Specialty.
Duties
- Manage the team of clinical assistants, receptionists, and call center workers.
- Oversees the completion of daily tasks ensuring appropriate workload assignments
- Reviews and approves clinic employee time cards and time off requests
- Trains, coaches and mentors employees for ongoing development
- Helps ensure excellence Patient Care and Customer Service
- Encourages a team oriented environment and follows company guidelines and policies
- Performs additional duties as reasonably assigned
Qualifications:
Extensive ophthalmology experience OR extensive experience as a manager in a medical and surgical subspecialty
Reliable and result oriented, excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to delegate and supervise with detail and organization. Proficient with Microsoft 365 and standard computer office skills
