- Shift: Nights (12-hour shifts, 6:30 PM–6:30 AM)
- Hours/Week: 36 guaranteed
- Unit: Med Surg / Ortho RN 221013001
- Care Setting: Acute
- Charting System: EPIC
Roles & Responsibilities
- Care for patients recovering from total joint replacements (knees, hips, shoulders, ankles) and spinal surgeries
- Administer pain medications, antibiotics, and blood products (no titratable drips)
- Collaborate with charge nurses and CNAs (1:13 ratio) to ensure safe, efficient care
- Utilize tele boxes with tech support for cardiac monitoring
- Float to MedSurg, rehab, or PCU for patients with med/surg acuity
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg/Ortho RN experience
- Must be flexible, team-oriented, and open to feedback
Education & Certifications
- BSN: Not required
- License: Active RN license (submit-ready)
- Certifications Required: BLS
