Cardiovascular Technologist – Cath Lab
Employment Type: Permanent | PRN. Primary shift: 0630–1730 (volume-dependent variability)
Location: Montana (Relocation Assistance Provided)
We are looking for a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join a top-notch hospital team in a friendly Montana community nestled between two renowned national parks. In this role, you will assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a collaborative Cath Lab setting that prioritizes teamwork and compassionate patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures by managing the sterile field
- Monitor and report hemodynamic data throughout procedures
- Carry out X-ray duties as per Cath Lab standards and policies
- Work under the guidance of Cardiologists, the Cath Lab Manager, Anesthesia, and R.N. Circulators
- Maintain accurate documentation and electronic files according to departmental standards
- Adhere to safety protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and blood-borne pathogens
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Cath Lab or completion of an accredited Cardiovascular program (required)
- Current BLS Certification (required)
- Completion of the Cardiovascular Science Exam (preferred)
- Completion of the Cardiovascular Invasive Registry Exam (preferred)
- Current RCIS Registration (preferred)
- ACLS Certification (recommended)
