Cardiac Catheterization Nurse
Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time. Primary schedule: 0630–1730 (varies based on volume)
Location: Choteau, Montana (Relocation assistance available)
We are looking for an experienced RN to join our Cath Lab team in a beautiful Montana community located near two national parks. This position plays a crucial role in delivering safe and effective cardiac care in a collaborative setting focused on patient well-being.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and organized Cath Lab environment
- Assess patient needs and ensure quality care during procedures
- Create a safe surgical atmosphere while circulating
- Work closely with Cardiologists, Cath Lab Manager, and Anesthesia teams
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to any changes
- Accurately document procedures and manage electronic records
- Follow safety protocols for handling chemicals and blood-borne pathogens
- Be flexible with hours to accommodate procedural volume, including on-call shifts
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (mandatory)
- At least 2 years of direct Cath Lab experience as an RN
- Active RN license (mandatory)
- Current BLS and ACLS Certification (mandatory)
- Solid understanding of professional nursing and coronary care practices
