Sterling Engineering is partnered with a global manufacturing organization seeking a Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This individual will play a key role in financial reporting, month-end close activities, inventory accounting, and manufacturing cost analysis while partnering closely with operations and leadership teams.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Perform account reconciliations and maintain general ledger accuracy
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Support inventory accounting and manufacturing cost activities
- Partner with operations and leadership teams to improve financial performance
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Experience working with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- Cost accounting and/or inventory accounting experience strongly preferred
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
