Job Duties
- Perform design and drafting assignments, including layouts of complex vessels, piping, and foundations using AutoCAD drawing techniques per project requirements
- Conduct field visits when necessary and utilize familiarity with P&IDs
- Initiate 3D model designs and actively participate in all review meetings
- Provide design computations, isometrics, plans, sketches, and bills of materials when applicable
- Provide necessary information for inter-discipline coordination and participate in project meetings
- Review design drawings for quality and accuracy
- Develop and maintain department standard details, procedures, notes, and project drawing lists
- High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree
- 5 to 7 years of experience working in piping design and plant layout within a heavy industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of 3D AutoCAD software, Cloud Scanning Software, and Solidworks
- Knowledge of multi-discipline project design execution, construction methods, and relevant industry codes.
- Ability to translate field and design sketches into detailed finished construction documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with the project team
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work, juggle multiple projects at a time, and set priorities
Salary : $90,000 - $105,000
