Job Duties:
- Set up test tanks and laboratory equipment, including installation of valves and related components.
- Operate overhead cranes safely to move test equipment and materials.
- Utilize hand tools including wrenches, ratchets, screwdrivers, and measuring devices.
- Assist with the operation and monitoring of laboratory testing equipment, including Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
- Accurately record test data, measurements, and observations using Microsoft Excel and other data collection systems.
- Read and interpret basic measurements, pressure units, weights, and test parameters.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
- Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and safe work practices.
- Support engineers and laboratory personnel with testing activities and special projects.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and experience using common hand tools.
- Ability to understand measurements, pressure units, and weights.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in a manufacturing, maintenance, testing, or laboratory environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely work around industrial equipment.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to safety.
