Job Title: Inventory Shipping Clerk

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Hire Type: Contract (Onsite)

Target Pay Rate: $26.00/hour

Must-Have Skills:

• Inventory, finance, material accounting, or cycle counting experience
• Strong data analysis skills (inventory, transactions, material movement)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Experience working with inventory systems and documentation processes

Job Summary:

The Inventory Shipping Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records through documentation, process verification, and system review. This role supports inventory control by assisting with cycle counts, analyzing discrepancies, and ensuring the accuracy of all incoming and outgoing transactions.

Job Duties:

• Maintain inventory accuracy through documentation review and system verification
• Assist with physical inventory and cycle counts
• Analyze and resolve inventory discrepancies when possible
• Audit incoming and outgoing transactions for quality and accuracy
• Compile and document transactions for data entry
• Analyze inventory data, material movement, and related issues
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and customers
• Identify process improvements and support continuous improvement efforts
  
  

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in inventory control, material accounting, or cycle counting
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret raw data
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word required)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Willingness to learn new processes and systems
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred
