We’re looking for a hands-on Electrical Designer/Engineer to join a family-owned manufacturer of custom HVAC and water chiller systems. This is a great opportunity to design and optimize electrical assemblies for high-quality cooling systems used in industrial and medical applications.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and model electrical box assemblies using SolidWorks Electrical.
- Create wiring diagrams, schematics, layouts, and complete BOMs for assemblies.
- Collaborate with production, purchasing, and suppliers to ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and reliable.
- Support first article builds, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical support and clarification to suppliers during quoting and build stages.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks Electrical (required).
- Hands-on mindset with a focus on practical, manufacturable solutions.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with outsourced electrical assembly production or supplier management.
- Familiarity with industrial control panels or thermal management systems.
- Knowledge of UL, NEC, or other industrial electrical standards.
