Position: HSE Safety SupervisorDuration: 6-12 months - contract to hireLocation: Lebanon, IN 46052 onsite daily plus OT on weekends as needed
Pay rate $50.00 - $60.00 per hour plus OT
I am looking for an experienced HSE Safety Supervisor to serve as the safety supervisor for a site workforce of 25-30 to include millwrights, welders, electricians, commissioning and qualification specialist and other roles. This position has full stop-work authority and serves as the primary interface with GC and client HSE personnel
This is a highly visible role supporting regulated pharma and manufacturing expansions.
What You'll Be DoingLead and promote a strong safety culture throughout all site activities
Serve as the primary HSE point of contact with the client
Conduct site inspections, audits, safety observations, and compliance revisions
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, client requirements, and procedures
Exercise stop-work authority whenever unsafe conditions or behaviors are observed
Conduct orientations, toolbox talks, safety meetings, and ongoing training
Oversee permit-to-work activities including LOTO, confined space entry, hot work, rigging and lifting, electrical safety, and work at heights
Support commissioning, startup, and qualification activities from an HSE perspective
Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and implement corrective actions
Maintain all HSE documentation, reports, permits, and records
Manage contractor and subcontractor safety performance
Support environmental compliance, waste management, and housekeeping programs
QUALIFICATIONSMinimum 5 years of construction, industrial, or pharmaceutical safety experience
EHS - Environmental Health and Safety experience
Experience supporting pharmaceutical, life sciences, semiconductor, data center, or large industrial project
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safe work practice
Experience with contractor management and permit-to-work systems
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required
CHST, ASP, CSP, OSHA 500, or equivalent professional safety certification is preferred
First Aid/CPR certification preferred
