Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

The Drafter will develop equipment layouts and design electrical systems for large-scale utility infrastructure projects. This role involves creating Bills of Materials (BOMs) and construction drawings while ensuring coordination with construction crews, clients, and stakeholders.

Key Skills

  • Strong understanding of power distribution systems and best practices in electrical design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and AS8 (Asset Suite 8).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Entry-level or mid-level experience (1-3 years or 5 years)
  • Passion for CAD design with an Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Telecomm experience or any utilities experience is a plus.
