This position plays a key role in accurate inventory control, timely part movement, and supporting production teams across the plant.Key ResponsibilitiesPick, move, stage, and deliver parts based on route cards, computer instructions, or team directionCount parts and enter transactions into the computer system to maintain accurate inventoryRespond quickly to expedited requests from machine builders or other team membersReceive, put away, pack/unpack, and process transactions for incoming and outgoing materialsSet up new parts and locations in the warehouse, including labelingAdditional Duties:Follow all safety proceduresMaintain tools and equipmentKeep work areas clean, organized, and safeQualificationsAbility to speak, read, and write English (Spanish bilingual a plus)Strong communication skillsAbility to follow written, verbal, and computer-based instructionsComfortable using warehouse computer systems, scanners, barcode readers, and tabletsAbility to complete part transactions accurately in the systemAble to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipmentCompany DescriptionSterling has helped build careers for thousands of professionals like yourself.
