What are the responsibilities and job description for the Case Manager position at Steps Recovery Center LLC?

We are looking to add on to our already amazing team in Murray. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of recovery principles in both a substance use and mental health fashion, be self driven and self motivated, a positive attitude and a team player. We are willing to train if you have any relevant knowledge or experience. DUTIES:Maintains documentation of all Case management sessions, substance abuse services and other services.Supervises program participants with medication compliance and drug screening as needed.Provides crisis intervention and facilitates conflict resolution among the program participants.Chaperons group sponsored trips and social functions, develops and maintains skills through seminars, workshops or other forms of related training/education.Participates in all team and staff meetings, community meetings and supervision/consultation.REQUIREMENTS:At least 1 year sobriety.Pass a background checkMust Have a Valid Drivers License & clean driving record.Current driver license and a driving record acceptable to SRC’s insurance carrier. Know and comply confidentiality laws, program policies and documentation guidelines and other related state, federal regulations.Current case management skills including: referrals, family and community education, documentation, case management and conducting/facilitating individual case management, multi-cultural and social-economic issues and professional and ethical responsibilities.Basic advocacy skills.Oral and written communication and PC skills.Preferred certified Peer support, but not requiredAbility to work varied hours.Use good judgment to make decisions within policies and practices.Pay is based on ExperienceE04JI8003jl4408il7m
