What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admissions Coordinator position at Steps Recovery Center LLC?
Description:
To help prospective clients find proper placement in a Steps facility.
Duties:
- Follow admission, transfer, and discharge policies and procedures.
- Communicate an accurate facility census to all facility departments.
- Notify appropriate facility departments when a resident is admitted, transferred, discharged, lr moves from one level of care to another.
- Explain facility philosophy, policies, and procedures to potential and new residents and residents' representatives.
- Explain the facility admission agreement and all attachments to potential and new resident and residents' representatives.
- Act as a liaison between transferring institutions and the facility; establishes a good rapport with transferring institutions.
- Participate in marketing the facility and maintaining an acceptable census level.
- Obtain required signatures on all admission forms.
- Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Prefer Bachelor Degree in Sales/Marketing, but not required. Prefer at least one year experience in sales and marketing in a residential/outpatient setting. Sobriety at least two years. Clean driving record.
