Job Overview
Boulder Estates is seeking a full time day shift Home Health Aide to join our team! The hours include 6:45 AM- 3:00 PM 4 days a week and every third weekend. There is opportunity to pickup additional hours to get to 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care, ensuring the well-being and comfort of clients while assisting them with daily activities. This role does not require CNA certification but is highly encouraged. Boulder Estates is willing to provide education financial assistance per our education contract.
Duties
- Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, dressing and medication administration for clients.
- Assist with daily living activities and ensure a safe environment for clients.
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring accurate documentation of patient observations.
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Support clients with mobility and physical exercises as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Engage in meaningful conversations and activities to enhance the quality of life for clients.
- Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Previous experience in patient care is preferred.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
- Ability to observe patients closely and report any changes in their condition promptly.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide or equivalent training is desirable but not mandatory.
