Job Summary
The Licensing Renewal Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the renewal and reinstatement of licenses for individual professionals and organizations. This role ensures that all renewal applications comply with applicable laws, rules, policies, and procedures while maintaining accurate records and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Review and process license renewal and reinstatement applications for individuals and organizations.
Evaluate applicant eligibility based on submitted documentation, including civil, criminal, or administrative background records.
Verify credentials and compliance status through appropriate databases and verification systems.
Process license reinstatement waiver forms and guide applicants through reinstatement requirements and timelines.
Maintain and update licensing renewal and reinstatement pages or documentation within the system.
Collaborate with system vendors and technical teams to troubleshoot application or system-related issues.
Respond to inquiries from applicants, stakeholders, and partner organizations regarding licensing, renewal, or reinstatement concerns.
Track and monitor the progress of renewals and reinstatements to ensure timely completion.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to system or workflow enhancements.
Assist with continuing education (CE) processes, including due-date extensions and exemption form reviews.
Qualifications And Skills
Previous experience in licensing, compliance, or administrative coordination preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document review and data entry.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with databases, online portals, and document management systems.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a structured environment.
Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
Customer service–oriented approach when working with applicants and stakeholders.
