Job Summary For GIS Engineer

  • Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in geospatial technology, database creation, application programming, and project coordination.
  • Bachelor s degree (or higher) in geography, urban planning, public policy, computer science, or related field.
  • Proficient in the development and integration of geospatial technologies.
  • Experience with Cityworks and Innovyze software, including integration, updates, testing, debugging, and deployment.
  • Skilled in using Web GIS platforms with knowledge of real-time data ingestion, big data storage, and spatial analysis.
  • Desirable experience in water/wastewater, utility sector, or urban planning projects.
  • 4-year project assignment, located: Detroit, MI.
