Job Summary Bilingual Global Incident Response (GIR) Analyst
- Analyze cybersecurity incidents, artifacts, and intrusion methods to determine root cause and corrective actions
- Conduct incident response, security event monitoring, investigation, and forensics across multiple environments
- Utilize English and Japanese language skills to communicate and coordinate with global teams
- Apply knowledge of Mac OS, Linux, Windows, and cloud platforms for incident investigation
- Correlate and analyze security data using various tools and techniques
- Develop and maintain information security policies, standards, and procedures
- Guide and mentor junior analysts; manage time effectively to balance multiple tasks
- Understand offensive security tactics and threat actor methodologies
- Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory security frameworks (CRI, ISO 27001, NIST, FFIEC, SOC2, STAR, etc.)
- Support audit, compliance, and risk management teams by providing documentation and process insights
- Generate and deliver reports on security activities, trends, and threats
- Develop and enhance security detections, playbooks, and automation for threat response and mitigation
- Triage and escalate security events, and monitor service provider activities for potential incidents
- Analyze and remediate compromised systems, including breach indicator assessments
- Support internal or third-party investigations related to employee or system incidents
- Research and stay current with evolving threats, vulnerabilities, industry frameworks, and best practices
- Work a 4-day hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 1 day remote) in Jersey City, NJ or Tempe, AZ/Brea, CA
- Requires Bachelor s in IT/Cybersecurity/related field, 5 years experience in cybersecurity, and relevant certifications (CISSP, GIAC, CISM, etc. preferred)
- Must be fluent in both English and Japanese, with cultural fluency in both contexts
Salary : $60 - $65
