HVAC Installer

Position Summary:

The HVAC Installer is responsible for the professional installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. This position requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install new HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, thermostats, and ventilation systems according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.

• Inspect existing systems and determine necessary modifications for installation or replacement.

• Follow blueprints, specifications, and job plans to ensure accurate installation.

• Test installed equipment for proper performance and compliance with safety regulations.

• Braze, solder, and perform basic sheet metal fabrication as needed.

• Maintain clean and organized job sites at all times.

• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members.

• Complete installation documentation and submit reports as required.

• Comply with all company policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

• Assist with training apprentices or junior installers as assigned.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position; schedule may include evenings or weekends as required by workload or seasonal demand.

• Work is performed indoors and outdoors, occasionally in extreme weather conditions.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• 2 years of HVAC installation experience preferred.

• EPA 608 Certification required (or ability to obtain).

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and equipment.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various environmental conditions (hot, cold, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.).
