Operations Manager
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the daily activities of a technical service and repair facility. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for improving operational performance, developing employees, and ensuring exceptional quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage production planning, scheduling, staffing, inventory, and resource allocation.
- Lead, coach, and develop employees while building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Ensure customer orders are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.
- Partner with sales and customer service teams on estimates, production updates, and customer needs.
- Track KPIs and implement improvements in productivity, quality, safety, and profitability.
- Lead Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance programs.
- Manage departmental budgets, profitability, and gross-margin performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
- Five or more years of leadership experience in manufacturing, industrial service, repair, or operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and employee-development skills.
- Experience managing production schedules, KPIs, budgets, and operational performance.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience with technical products or industrial equipment.
- Familiarity with Lean principles, ERP/MRP systems, Microsoft Office, and P&L management preferred.
Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
