Job Captain - Project Manager

12 month contract to hire

In office 5 days a week

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced professional to coordinate architectural projects, support design initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality construction documents and project solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple architectural and construction-related projects simultaneously.
• Coordinate with design, engineering, operations, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Support the development and evaluation of new design options, styles, and details.
• Assist with technology and process-improvement initiatives.
• Ensure projects meet deadlines, budget expectations, and quality standards.
• Review construction documents and interpret applicable building codes.
• Maintain project data, documentation, and workflow standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and share best practices with the team.
• Provide support in developing standards, procedures, and project governance.

Qualifications

Required

• Associate degree or equivalent technical/vocational certification.
• 5 years of related architectural or construction experience.
• 2 years of project or people management experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Excel, and Word.
• Strong knowledge of architectural design, construction documents, and building codes.
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple priorities.
• Valid driver’s license.
