We are looking for a Maintenance Manager – Operations to lead a technical operations team responsible for ensuring high availability and performance of complex operational systems in a live production environment.
This is a leadership role combining team management, systems oversight, and customer engagement, focused on delivering reliable 24/7 operational services.
The Role
As Maintenance Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of mission-critical infrastructure.
You will lead a team of technicians responsible for maintaining operational equipment and ensuring system uptime, while acting as a key point of contact for stakeholders and customers.
This role requires strong coordination across engineering, software, and operational teams to ensure systems perform reliably and contractual service levels are consistently met.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team responsible for maintaining operational infrastructure and equipment.
- Ensure systems maintain 24/7 uptime and operational reliability.
- Coordinate planning activities to balance operational priorities with team capacity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational improvements and best practices
- Oversee maintenance operations covering hardware, software, and network environments.
- Monitor system performance and ensure operational metrics and contractual KPIs are achieved.
- Translate client requirements into technical maintenance and operational plans.
- Support system audits and ensure performance standards are consistently met.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
- Around 5 years of experience within tolling or transportation systems environments.
- Leadership or supervisory experience managing technical or operational teams.
- Experience working with large-scale operational systems running in a 24/7 environment.
- Strong understanding of system workflows, operational processes, and service delivery models.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with technical teams and operational stakeholders.
- PMP certification is beneficial but not required.
