- Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accurate, up-to-date financial records
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
- Support balance sheet reconciliations and maintain clean, audit-ready books
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budget tracking and variance analysis
- Maintain clear documentation of transactions, debits & credits, and reconciliations
- Assist with payroll support, tax documentation, and filings as needed
- Help ensure compliance with accounting standards and reporting requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting (corporate, small business, non-profit, or multi-entity experience preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks (experience with Xero, Sage, or similar platforms is a plus)
- Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, and general ledger accounting
- Comfortable handling reconciliations and spotting discrepancies
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small, fast-moving team
Why This Role
- Competitive hourly pay ($25–$35/hour based on experience)
- Hands-on exposure to real-world accounting across multiple entities
- Opportunity to grow your responsibilities over time
- Supportive, professional environment that values accuracy and accountability
