We are looking for a Web Accessibility Consultant to create, remediate, test, and maintain accessible electronic documents and fillable forms while preserving policy and legal compliance.
Location: 315 Deaderick Street, Nashville, TN 37243
Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

Remediate Documents: Review and repair MS Word files, protocol documents, and fillable PDFs for accessibility.

Form Optimization: Build and remediate accessible forms with proper labels, tab order, grouping, and keyboard navigation.

Compliance Testing: Perform automated and manual accessibility testing for screen-reader usability, logical reading order, and contrast compliance.

Templates & QA: Assist in developing accessible templates and perform quality-control checks prior to publication.
Core Skills Required

Accessibility Standards: WCAG 2.1 & 2.2 (Level AA), PDF/UA, Matterhorn Protocol

Primary Software: Adobe Acrobat Pro (Tags, Reading Order, Form Fields) & MS Word (Advanced Styles, Headings, PDF Conversion)
