We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer to lead documentation standardization, bridge institutional knowledge gaps, and support our enterprise Cybersecurity Program and Documentation Recovery initiative.

Interview Process: Resume & portfolio review followed by 1 panel interview with IT leadership and subject-matter experts.
Key Responsibilities

Author SOPs, runbooks, infrastructure guides, and knowledge-base articles.

Create and update disaster recovery, incident response, and business continuity plans.

Design technical workflows, process maps, and architecture visual aids using MS Visio.

Collaborate directly with IT subject-matter experts across infrastructure, applications, and security.

Organize document libraries, manage metadata, and enforce standardized versioning control.
Required Skills & Qualifications

5 years of technical writing experience in complex IT/technology environments.

Core Tools: Advanced MS 365 (Word, SharePoint) and MS Visio.

Strong expertise in information architecture, document organization, and technical editing.

Portfolio Submission Required: 2–3 sanitized documentation samples (SOPs, runbooks, Visio diagrams, or recovery documentation).
Preferred Plus: Experience with NIST, CIS, or ITIL frameworks; public sector or highly regulated environment experience; CPTC or ITIL certifications.
