We are seeking a productive, self-motivated Network Security Analyst to join an experienced cybersecurity team. This is a hands-on technical role ideal for someone who can contribute independently to network security operations and support senior analysts on complex initiatives.

Key Technical Skills Required
If you have hands-on experience with the following, we want to hear from you:
- Networking Fundamentals: Routing & switching protocols, data network design best practices, and network telemetry analysis.
- Firewall & Edge Security: Enterprise firewalls, firewall rule reviews, configuration assessments, and connectivity/website block requests.
- Operating Systems: Administration and security across Windows, Linux, and macOS.
- Monitoring & Auditing: Investigating daily alerts, analyzing logs, and network traffic auditing (monitoring ports, protocols, and services).
Highly Value-Add Skills (Preferred)
Stand out from the crowd if you possess any of these:
- SIEM & Scanning Tools: Experience with Splunk, QRadar, Nessus, or Qualys.
- Cloud Security: Familiarity with AWS or Azure network security controls.
- Compliance Frameworks: Experience in regulatory environments dealing with HIPAA, NIST, or FISMA.
- Threat Detection: Working with IDS/IPS platforms and monitoring emerging threat vectors.
Education & Certifications
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Cyber, Computer Science, or equivalent experience PLUS a network-centric certification (e.g., CCNA or PCNSE).
- Preferred: Security or CISSP.
