We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead end-to-end IT procurement, vendor management, and contract operations.
Role Overview
- Location: Jackson, MS
- Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite Required

Key Responsibilities
- Procurement Operations: Draft Request for Proposals (RFPs) and IT solicitations in compliance with state procurement guidelines.
- Requirements & Workflows: Gather, document, and map detailed business requirements, user stories, and operational workflows.
- Project Management: Organize project teams, work plans, and timelines across multiple concurrent IT initiatives.
- Evaluation & Selection: Review, score, and analyze vendor bids, quotes, and proposals to select optimal technical solutions.
Must-Have Qualifications (10 Years Required)
- IT Solicitations & RFPs: Hands-on experience creating IT software and services procurement documents.
- Business Analysis / Project Management: Strong track record leading project teams and defining business requirements/workflows.
- Government Experience: Prior experience within state government procurement or contracting processes.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree.
Preferred Qualification
- Certified Mississippi Purchasing Agent (CMPA) credential.
