Job Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant Instructor/Coordinator teaches students how to perform basic patient care services directed at the safety, comfort, personal hygiene, and protection of patients through a combination of classroom lecture, and the coordination of hands-on clinical experience in a local long-term care facility.
Responsibilities:
- Instructing CNA classes
- Maintaining a safe and comprehensive program
- Training students to safely and effectively care for patients
- Evaluating and reporting of students’ progress
- Creating and delivering lecture demonstrations
- Ensuring smooth and safe operation of the teaching space.
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Minimum of two years experience, one year in long term care
- Vermont NATCEP approved
- Ability to instruct classed efficiently
