Responsibilities
- Clean, dry mop, and wet mop resident rooms and assigned areas
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, furniture, fixtures, and equipment
- Empty trash receptacles and properly dispose of waste
- Clean staff dining areas, stairwells, hallways, and other designated spaces
- Vacuum carpets and other floor surfaces
- Restock housekeeping supplies as needed
- Perform occasional light maintenance duties as assigned
- Follow all facility safety, sanitation, and infection-control policies and procedures
- Help maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping, environmental services, or cleaning experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to follow departmental safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
