Customer Service Representative

Role: Associate Customer Service Representative

Location: Springfield, IL 62704

Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite

Job Type: 3 Months Contract

Role Overview:

This is an entry-level customer service and order-processing role supporting the Service team. The person will handle phone calls, prepare quotes, enter customer orders into SAP, coordinate urgent shipments, assign service work orders to Field Service Engineers, and perform data entry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer Phone CallsAnswer incoming calls.
• Route calls to the appropriate person/team.
• Provide basic customer support.
• Prepare QuotesCreate quotes for aftermarket/service requests.
• Coordinate with internal teams as needed.
• Order EntryEnter customer orders into SAP after receiving a Purchase Order (PO).
• Ensure order information is entered accurately.
• Urgent Order CoordinationWork with the shipping and warehouse teams to get urgent orders processed and shipped quickly.
• Service Work OrdersUse ServiceMax to assign Planned Maintenance work orders to the appropriate Field Service Engineer.
• Parts/Instrument ReceivingProcess goods receipts when parts or instruments arrive.
• Enter/maintain the required information accurately.
• Team SupportHelp other team members with additional tasks when workload is high.
• Data EntryPerform accurate and timely data entry.
• Maintain records and information in company systems.

Required Qualifications:

Option 1:

• High School Diploma/GED

2 years of experience in:

• Customer Service
• Data Entry
