Job - Accounting Manager / Senior Accountant / Controller
Location: Hickory, NC
Salary: $80,000–$140,000 \(flexible based on experience\)
Schedule: Full-time, permanent \| Flexible hybrid schedule with up to 3 days working from home
Requirement: Active CPA license
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounting and financial reporting for multiple small-business clients.
- Oversee general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
- Prepare and review financial statements and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Provide accounting guidance and financial support to business owners.
- Maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards and requirements.
- Coordinate accounting activities across clients in multiple industries.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Active CPA license is required.
- Strong experience in accounting, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
- Experience managing accounting for multiple clients or businesses is highly preferred.
- Background in public accounting, outsourced accounting, or Client Accounting Services \(CAS\) is a plus.
- Experience supporting small businesses and working directly with business owners is preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts.
