We are seeking a highly motivated Corporate Transactional Attorney with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, entity formation, and contract negotiation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including NDAs, purchase agreements, and service contracts
- Advise clients or internal stakeholders on corporate governance, compliance, and transactional matters
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic business transactions
- Conduct due diligence and coordinate with external advisors and internal departments
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting corporate transactions
- Assist in the formation and structuring of entities, joint ventures, and partnerships
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and current ability to practice law in Maryland and/or the ability to sit for the Maryland bar required; Virginia and DC bar recommended
- 2–5 years of experience in corporate transactional law at a law firm or in-house legal department
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, M&A, and contract drafting/negotiation
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines
- Client service orientation and a collaborative working style

This is an Exempt Position with an Annual Salary Range of $135,000 - $200,000
