Job Title: QC Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a dedicated QC Laboratory Technician to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products. As a QC Lab Technician, you will be responsible for performing precise physical and chemical analyses of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods to support our manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine analyses of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using advanced laboratory techniques, including High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC), particle size analysis, density meters, viscometers, and more.
- Accurately document all analytical data in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure traceability and compliance.
- Escalate any Out-of-Specification (OOS) results to the QC Lab Supervisor for review and resolution.
- Manage inventory of laboratory consumables such as HPLC columns, reference standards, and control samples to maintain smooth lab operations.
- Perform routine troubleshooting and maintenance of laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance laboratory efficiency and accuracy.
- Adhere to strict quality, safety, and environmental standards to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
What We’re Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
- Strong math skills to support precise and accurate analyses.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of analytical techniques, chemical handling, storage, and disposal practices.
- Flexibility to work a 12-hour rotating shift, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BS) or Associate’s Degree (AS) in a science-related field.
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques, including hands-on experience with HPLC and wet chemistry methods.
- Experience in microbiological analysis.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and its troubleshooting/maintenance.
