Position Summary
The Shipper is responsible for packaging, preparing, and shipping customer orders accurately and on time, while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.

Primary Functions
- Pack, label, and prepare orders per customer requirements and company standards.
- Verify order accuracy and ensure all documentation is complete.
- Process shipments using the company?s ERP and shipping systems.
- Quote, schedule, and manage LTL freight using online portals and carrier systems (FedEx, UPS, etc.).
- Load and unload trucks safely; ensure proper documentation and placement.
- Maintain adequate shipping supplies and report inventory needs.
- Participate in cycle counts and physical inventory processes.
- Support continuous improvement efforts, 5S initiatives, and cross-training across departments (e.g., inspection).
- Promote and uphold safety, company culture, and ethical standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and comply with applicable regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1 year of shipping experience; manufacturing environment preferred.
- Knowledge of UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, and bill of lading software.
- Forklift certification or ability to become certified.
- Ability to perform physical job demands including:
- Standing and walking for extended periods.
- Bending, stooping, pushing/pulling, and reaching.
- Lifting up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
- Safe operation of forklifts and other shipping equipment.
