A well-established law firm in Towson, Maryland is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal to join its litigation team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented paralegal who is comfortable managing cases from inception through trial and enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive support to attorneys in civil litigation matters from intake through resolution
- Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence
- Manage case files, calendars, deadlines, and court filings (state and federal)
- Assist with discovery, including document production, subpoenas, and deposition preparation
- Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and vendors
- Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and hearing materials
- Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical files
Qualifications:
- 2 years of civil litigation paralegal experience
- Strong knowledge of Maryland state court procedures; federal court experience is a plus
- Proficiency with e-filing systems and litigation software
- Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and meet strict deadlines
- Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred
