A well-established New Jersey law firm is seeking a Plaintiff's Medical Malpractice Attorney to join its Monmouth County office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigator to take on substantive case responsibility within a collaborative, client-focused practice.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of plaintiff-side medical malpractice matters from intake through resolution
- Evaluate new cases, work with medical experts, and develop liability and damages theories
- Conduct depositions, motion practice, and discovery
- Prepare cases for trial and provide trial support/first-chair opportunities as experience warrants
- Communicate directly with clients and provide regular case status updates
- Collaborate with partners and colleagues on litigation strategy
Qualifications
- 5 years of civil litigation experience, with plaintiff-side medical malpractice experience strongly preferred
- Active New Jersey Bar license in good standing
- Strong writing, deposition, and courtroom skills
- Comfort working with medical experts and complex medical records
- Ability to manage a caseload independently while working well within a team environment

The annual salary for this position is between $130,000 and $180,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
