Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a diverse caseload of general liability matters from inception through resolution
- Conduct depositions, court appearances, and motion practice
- Draft pleadings, legal memoranda, and reports to clients and carriers
- Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations
- Communicate proactively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members
- Develop litigation strategies and provide risk assessments to clients
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Admission to the New York State Bar
- 3 years of general liability or broader defense litigation experience
- Strong writing, analytical, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage cases independently and effectively
- Experience with depositions, motion practice, and court appearances preferred

- The annual salary for this position is between $130,000 – $200,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
