Responsibilities
- Define and execute the company's technology strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-caliber engineering organization.
- Establish engineering processes that enable speed, quality, and operational excellence.
- Drive architecture decisions for a secure, scalable, cloud-native platform.
- Partner with Product, Design, Operations, and Customer Success to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
- Recruit and retain top engineering talent while fostering a strong technical culture.
- Oversee infrastructure, security, reliability, and software delivery practices.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies where they create meaningful business value.
- Present technical strategy and execution updates to executive leadership, investors, and the Board as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience as an engineering leader within a high-growth technology company.
- Demonstrated success scaling engineering teams in a venture-backed startup environment.
- Strong background building cloud-based SaaS platforms and modern distributed systems.
- Experience serving enterprise customers, ideally within highly regulated industries.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business decisions.
- Proven track record of recruiting and developing exceptional engineering talent.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Financial technology, capital markets, banking, wealth management, insurance, or other financial services domain experience.
- Experience working with institutional or enterprise customers.
- Familiarity with security, compliance, and regulatory considerations in financial software.
- Experience supporting rapid company growth from Series A through later-stage venture financing.
