This full-time, on-site role in the New York City Metropolitan Area involves overseeing software engineering teams, guiding architectural decisions, and integrating AI and data systems that power market-intelligence capabilities. The CTO will collaborate closely with product, operations, and business stakeholders to align technical initiatives with company objectives and customer needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the development lifecycle, setting best practices and standards, mentoring technical leaders, and evaluating new technologies that enhance performance, security, and data quality. The CTO will also be accountable for technical roadmap planning, resource allocation, and building a strong engineering culture that supports rapid experimentation and high-quality delivery.

- Strong background in Software Development and Product Development, with experience building and scaling data-intensive or AI-driven platforms.
- Proficiency in IT Strategy and Architecture, including designing robust, secure, and scalable systems for real-time data processing and analytics.
- Demonstrated Project Management skills, with a track record of leading cross-functional teams, managing complex roadmaps, and delivering technology initiatives on time.
- Experience leading engineering organizations, including hiring, mentoring, performance management, and fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, microservices, data pipelines, and AI/ML tools relevant to market intelligence and recommendation systems.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and make data-informed strategic decisions.
- Prior experience in startup or high-growth environments; exposure to entertainment, nightlife, or event-tech sectors is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
