A highly regarded law firm in Boston is seeking a mid-level Trusts & Estates Attorney with at least four years of experience to join its sophisticated private client practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work with high-net-worth individuals, families, and closely held business owners on complex estate planning and estate administration matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and implement comprehensive estate plans, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and related documents
- Advise clients on wealth transfer strategies, including gift, estate, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning
- Administer taxable and non-taxable estates
- Handle trust administration matters, including fiduciary guidance and accountings
- Collaborate with tax professionals, financial advisors, and family office representatives
- Participate in client meetings and manage ongoing client relationships
Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience in trusts and estates law
- Strong drafting experience in complex estate planning documents
- Experience with estate and trust administration
- Familiarity with federal and Massachusetts estate and gift tax laws
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Active admission to the Massachusetts Bar
Compensation
- Salary range: $150,000-180,000 annually performance bonuses
