Duties

• Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care
• Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to optimize cleaning processes
• Perform dry cleaning services for delicate or special items following established procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by regularly cleaning machines, workstations, and storage spaces
• Monitor inventory levels of detergents, cleaning supplies, and laundry chemicals; notify management when supplies need replenishing
• Ensure all laundry is handled in accordance with safety standards and hotel policies
• Assist with special requests from guests or staff for urgent or delicate laundry needs

Skills

• Proven experience in laundry operations or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal
• Familiarity with dry cleaning processes and equipment operation
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality cleaning standards are met consistently
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
• Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, bending, and moving heavy loads throughout shifts
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
