Join our dynamic team as a Housekeeper at the Award winning Staybridge Suite Dayton South/Miamisburg and play a vital role in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests. This energetic position offers the opportunity to showcase your cleaning expertise, attention to detail, and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of hotel guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization and deep cleaning as scheduled
- We schedule our team to clean 9-12 rooms per shift based on our studio, 1 and 2 bedroom room types.
- Maintain IHG Brand standards of sanitation and cleanliness across all areas, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common spaces
- Assist in floor care tasks such as carpet cleaning and polishing hard floors to preserve their appearance and longevity
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest's requests and ensuring their needs are met with professionalism
- Follow established cleaning protocols using cleaning supplies and equipment safely and effectively
- Support housekeeping management by assisting with inventory control of cleaning supplies and reporting maintenance issues promptly
- Flexible schedule
Experience
- Prior experience in residential cleaning, hotel housekeeping, or custodial roles is highly desirable
- Knowledge of sanitation standards, floor care methods, and laundry procedures is essential
- Experience in housekeeper management or supervising cleaning staff can be advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude toward guest interactions
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience demonstrating attention to detail and reliability
